Last time I really saw them was Everton around Christmas and they were fudging awful. Insipid, spineless and weak. Look a different side here so far. Worrying.

This is what I was talking about weeks ago. People said Arsenal were getting the results as playing easier teams. But, they seem to be set as a team, clear team instructions and patterns of play. A youthful team full of energy. They’re getting top 4 barring some kind of miracle. Let’s hope for that miracle.

Haven’t seen much of Woolwich lately but not enjoying this. They look very cohesive.

I’ve seen a bit of Villa in the last couple of months and they were never going to do us any favors today. Average at best.

Only +1 on the GD, about as good a result as could have been expected, I feared they’d run up a score today against an average Villa side with nothing to play for.

They are. They are better than us this season. I just hope when they likely qualify for the CL their squad is to small to compete twice weekly and we can continue to improve and take the CL place back next season.
