Eh, modern game. Was clumsy as brick from James. Seen much less given. Pen incident aside, Tierney was very good.

What happens next for Arsenal depends on what Arteta does in the next games with the returning experienced players.... if he keeps them out and sticks with the younger players who played today they will do OK. I suspect he has a bit of a dressing room problem there like Poch had in season 1 at Spurs.

VARs mandate should only ever be to correct 'clear and obvious' mistakes or make 'clear and obvious' decisions. If that criteria isn't met, it's switched off. Simple.

I thought any handball in the buildup to a goal, intentional or not, ruled it out. Maybe they couldn't determine that but from one angle it definitely looked like it hit his elbow. Anyway, it was against West Ham so who cares.
