I just watched the goals and the word "intensity" springs to mind. The Arsenal players were jogging about and hardly trying to close down the Southampton players as if they expected them not to do anything with the ball.

I'd mark it down as a psychological loss more than anything else.

You can set your clock by them, December, descent.
 
Arsenal will probably play Cech in the league cup, which will help them defend crosses better. But they will still be vulnerable to the counter-attack imo.

Get Lamela, Moura and Son starting.
