The Official 2017/18 Premier League Thread

Kane will need 41 to win it this season, because Lukaku will get 40 this season with United's midfield feeding him

wist am are phucking sh1t. Can't wait for us to give them a beating this season, we will right all wrongs this year.

Harry will go into the final week of the season 5 behind Lukaku but will score 8 in the final 3 games to overtake Lukaku;)

i think if we supply Harry enough chances he is capable of hitting over 40 PL goals. No joke. The lad is a goal-scoring beast

Think I'll have a few quid on Bilic in the sack race, they looked like 14 strangers who turned up with their boots looking for a kick around at Hackney Marshes

West Ham showed the dangers of making too many changes to a settled side.

United will be a force, not saying they're necessarily stronger with Lukaku and Matic instead of Herrera and Ibra but they are settled, and have a ridiculously talented squad. Fully expect them to contest the title this time around unfortunately.

Thought man united were outstanding today very powerful and just that bit more pacey than last season!
Not happy by any means as we look slightly lethargic imho, but only first game.

We looked lethargic but organised and I'll certainly take that early doors in the season vs arsenal/liverpool/chelsea.

Mancs looked well drilled and organised.

Good to have football back

they had a very intensive pre season. Lots of games against good quality opposition and it showed yesterday. They were bang at it, fast, sharp and fit.

Tend to agree with most of that, i think Matic is a great buy for them though.

Does anyone think otherwise?

I think Pogba is an excellent player who didn't settle in completely last season, but was still better than a lot of people have said. The main reason that he attracts extensive criticism is the price tag. I wouldn't be surprised if, at the end of this season, he was amongst the front runners for the PFA player of the year.
