The Official 2017/18 Premier League Thread

Damn. Spammers win it 4 minutes into injury time. But perhaps not bad for us. Means they're a little less desperate for points on Thursday.

Disgusting behaviour; this imbecile could easily have killed someone, twice the legal drink drive limit. And what happened to the woman he hit with his car???

Mr Freeman said the "catalyst" for his client's behaviour was being subjected to racism in front of his family while out having a meal hours earlier.

...police were called to his home and told he had left in his car and might have been drinking.

Officers found the BBC pundit's car stopped on Clifton Drive, Blackpool after he was involved in a collision with a woman getting out of a taxi.

He was breathalysed and found to be twice the legal alcohol limit, the court was told.

PC Gareth Evans said the former footballer had been "calm, polite and courteous" before his arrest but started "getting more confrontational".

When Sinclair was put in the back of the police van, he made racist comments.

The court also heard that Sinclair, 44, urinated in a police car during the arrest in his hometown on 12 November.

He continued to be "obnoxious, aggressive and racist while being booked in", the officer said.

After Sinclair pleaded guilty to drink driving and a racially aggravated public order offence, the prosecution dropped other charges including assault on a police officer, failing to provide a specimen and criminal damage.

Looking at the lineups for Arsenal v Chelsea -- I'll be very surprised if Chelsea don't tear that back 3 and centre midfield to shreds.

I hope for a draw, but I think Chelsea will win by a couple. Arsenal do carry a threat going forward, so there is that I suppose, but Chelsea will have to have a really off day to lose this. Arsenal should play into their hands.

1-3 Chelsea is my prediction.

I've had some good night's out in Manchester, don't know what it's like at City's new stadium but Maine Road area was really rough, made Tottenham look like Fulham.

Pains me to say but hoping for a Chelsea win. Reckon the top 3 belong to City, Utd & themselves (although Utd may well drop down into the battle for 4th) whilst we'll be up against Pool and that other mob for the 4th. Thus obviously need Arsenal to be beaten up by those above.

Indeed, i always used enjoy going there as they had some terrific pubs around the ground. I once won 100 pounds playing "chase the lady" in one of them.

How is that not a freekick to Wheelchair? :p Ah, it warms my heart seeing that little midget angry. :D

Edit - ooops! A dive. Should get a yellow, that little clam.
