Zaha really impressing as well. Matched up against Walker and coming out on top plenty, even in the more physical or running battles. Rarely losing the ball. Also putting in a big shift defensively. So far, the sort of performance that makes me think he would suit us nicely!
And Townsend, well - the sort of performance to show why we let him go...

Nah. That's not a tackle that deserves a yellow card. Never ever. It's just a little foul in the middle of the park. Didn't stop a counter, didn't deny him a shot. Nothing in it.

If that's a yellow card, every foul is a yellow card, because it has to be intentional for it to be a foul in the first place.

That's not what he did though. He stuck out his leg to try to poke the ball, and Zaha stumbled over Sanes thigh. Absolutely nothing more than foul. I challenge you to quote me where in the rules that warrants a yellow.
