The Official 2015/16 Premier League Thread

That's 14 points from 13 games for Man Utd. And what's good for us is it means their game against Arsenal becomes an absolutely must win.

What an absolute f#ckin bonus that is. What a start to the weekend.
Minimum 6pts clear of 5th with 12 to go no matter what.

Then its
Man United v Arsenal
Tottenham v Swansea
West Ham v Sunderland

West Ham away is a must-not-lose on March 2nd

That Man U squad really is thin.
They seem a bit directionless.
I actually think Jose is the perfect fit for them now, with an underdog tag like his early days in Portugal and in the CL with Porto.

Really cant see Utd getting top 4 now - they'd need one of the current top 4 to have a meltdown. They have all the top 4 in the last 12 games plus other tricky ones like Everton. Their most likely route into the CL now is via the EL

It's not often we could ever say this, but I will be massively disappointed if we dont actually beat United at home in April. The way results are panning out, a win that day would probably end their CL hopes completely

Even better when you see stuff like this posted from their fans:

Hilarious that some of you guys would rather be chasing City than Spurs. Is this your first season following football?

Spurs will fall away. They always do and they always will. They are not in this title race, next years title race or any title race in the foreseeable future.

That's Sunderland's only win this season against anyone currently in the top half.

And not really a surprise result. Sunderland have been playing well lately. A draw at Anfield, in a game in which they came from 2 down, coupled with a tight loss against Emirates Marketing Project showed that the team had fighting spirit. More than can be said for Man United who, it's pleasing to see, are looking totally out of sorts.

even if Utd now suddenly start to play like Champions and take 2 points per game, they'd only finish on 65. Its actually surprising that they're in 5th given how brick they look

Might be a bit greedy asking for Norwich to sneak a draw, but that would be another bonus and make tomorrow's match a total 'freebie' in Top 4 terms. After today West Ham finish with 7 at home, 5 away (although the 5 aways are Everton,Chelsea,Leicester,WBA and Stoke with still Us,Arsenal and United as 3 of their homes)

Palace losing again, sometimes a team from nowhere gets dragged into a relegation dogfight, surely it cant be them this season...can it?

WBA: 25% possession, 1 shot on target, 1 goal
Everton: 75% possession, 1 shot on target, 0 goals
