The "Official" 2013/14 Other teams matches thread

Shows just how capable City are of punishing teams, could easily have been more and Arsenal were fortunate to get their first goal. Without that to boost their morale at that point I'm not sure they would have reacted as well as they eventually did when 2/3-1 down.

Agree with the rest here, this City team is fantastic when it's working for them. Pellegrini is more than capable of making them good away from home too, if they can sort out their goalkeeper issue either by Hart returning to form or by signing someone in January it's difficult to see how anyone is going to stop them to be honest.

Just see the Ozil and Mertesacker confrontation at the end. Looked serious stuff.. Would love to know what that was all about.

Cant see either of Palace or Fulham getting anything today, Sunderland are probably the most likely out of the three though

Agreed, would be very surprised (and pleased) if Palace or Fulham pick up points today. West Ham - Sunderland should be a dreadful game, but could go either way.

BT Sports pundits said that Ozil was getting told off for not joining his teammates in going over to the away fans, hopefully that should lead to some schisms in ARSEnal' dressing room and Ozil' form getting even worse \o/

The real question about City is how they will cope in the CL. They can obviously hurt anyone when attacking, but they do look vulnerable at the back. I imagine Pellegrini would try to make them more solid through the centre against a top European team and they should have course get Nastasic back from injury or sign someone else I suppose.

I honestly think Pellegrini is capable of putting them in the mix this season, and if not this season then almost certainly next season.

Good point. When does the ECL resume?
They have a bunch of easy peasy fixtures coming up though before they meet us on 29 January. Except for Saudi Sportswashing Machine away.
I am now a big Magpies fan.

Looks like Emirates Marketing Project/Arsenal took up all the goals this weekend in the Premier League.
