The "Official" 2013/14 Other teams matches thread

Really like Southampton. Good side.

First time I've looked at the league for around 3 weeks, surprised how far Arsenal are in front and how Spurs are only currently 3 points off second! (Although that will change after this game)

Considering we haven't won in our last four league games that's kind of encouraging

Southampton are ****ing class, love their project. It's more interesting than Swansea's because Southampton actually compete against the top sides too.

They are in a nice position though because they clearly raise their game for the bigger teams, where as bigger teams in turn don't factor them in as one of the big teams for them. So the disparity there means Southampton are in a really nice position, and it may still be a few months before the other big clubs cotton on to it.

Also - a good example of why players need time to settle in. The only attacking player that hasn't really shone at Saints yet is Osvaldo - he needs to settle. Young players on the other hand that know the league are finding it easier to come in and be effective right off the bat.
