The "Official" 2013/14 Other teams matches thread

Really?

Surely the posts are only relevant to games happening at the time of posting?

This isn't the "other teams" mega thread of old.
This is commentary on active, other teams games, other than ours.

And on a Saturday afternoon when there's a few games going on with goals and controversial moments how would someone find all the discussion about a certain game or incident? They'd have to look through pages and pages of other junk, with a separate forum they go straight to it which would make them more likely to get involved.

I take your point, but if we had a sub-forum for all other teams discussions, and on a Saturday, for example, we had a thread for every game being played, I fear some threads would fall off the front page quickly, and some would have no input at all.

Honestly, look at last seasons version of this, (in classics?) and see how many actual posts there were on any given matchday with a "full" programme. It's really not that much.

Because there's people in here (like me) who don't enjoy posting in mega-threads? Which continuously go off-topic anyway.

Would that matter much, so nobody really wants to talk about Swansea vs Villa, that thread either wouldn't get made or would disappear, those games with interesting discussions would hang around a bit longer, that's how forums work.

Just sounds like far more Mod work. Instead of browsing one thread they would have to browse many.

If it was just a different thread for other teams games each week i could get behind it. The controversies that occur generate their own threads anyway if they are actually interesting.

Lyon's Grenier scoring a wonder goal against Real Madrid last night......he is an Arse target apparently

just seen a bit of Man Utd playing a game in Japan, and its noticeable they now are hitting long balls from the back and bypassing the midfield

ManU are having a poor pre-season. Won't mind if it continues to the next season. Moyes will be under pressure if it does.

Who are Glasgow Rangers playing today? Just see a police escort getting their fans out of London Bridge station

The played Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday (obviously) and open their season tomorrow with a Ramsdens Cup match against Albion Rovers.

Watching monaco vs leicester - oh what could have been with moutinho....

I watched the last minute of it - then they had an interview with Ranieri. He was asked who would win the league - could it be chelscum. Ranieri mentioned yeah, bu talso spurs, utd, arsescum and bricky. The big five. I think the big four has become the big five and whats brilliant is Liverscum arent in it.
