The Lane, The Finale

I look forward to seeing Nethercott, Etherington and Judas paraded around the touchline :D

You mean like this?

I actually, despite it not being maybe universally popular, would like to see the previous administrations represented so Alan Sugar and Irving Scholar and anyone connected to the Wale family. Regardless of what people might think, they are part of the history of the club and the ground and why we are all emotional about May 14th.

Other than that obviously the sort of names being mentioned you would want to see but also perhaps some of the players who were part of less successful sides but played their part during hard times for the club so for me players I would like to express gratitude to would be players like Chris Armstrong, Vinny Samways, David Howells, Ian Walker, Justin Edinburgh, Ronny Rosenthal, Nicky Barmby, Steve Sedgley, Allan Nielsen, Steffen Iversen. Some of those players were bright spots in very poor teams or periods and others were long servants or made an impact like Nielsen.

I personally would love to see Chris Armstrong brought out because I feel he gets a very raw deal when it comes to his stats/performance for Spurs. I think he suffered incredibly badly with injuries yet when he was fit I thought him and Teddy were a very good partnership although that only lasted 2 seasons. He got 22 in his first season after a slow start and I remember him scoring a lovely goal against Arsenal at home and a cracking header in the 4-1 win against Man Utd. He got a great hat-trick against Everton on new years day 1999 too. 48 in 141 isn't such a bad record considering the absolute dross he was playing with half the time and his injury record either.
Totally agree...I would also include my namesake and Juande...all the managers good and bad tbh. I draw the line at Sol!..why didn't you just go to Man U man??....you could/should be remembered fondly

Would also be a nice touch to see the families of Dean Richards & Ugo invited.

Very surprised no one has mentioned Berbatov. Ok he didn't play a huge amount of games, though his style was a perfect fit for our club.

since Enic took over everyone (with the obvious exception of that taco sherwood) has played their part

i'll defend Sugar too, yeah he didn't see the future clearly, but had he not stepped in the club would have been collateral against mirror group loans and we'd be a Saudi Sportswashing Machine/west ham/forest

I'd say Sherwood played his part both as academy boss and with the 1st team. His style of football was a breath of fresh air after AVB. OK he wasn't to everyone's tastes but he got a few things right: Ade was better than Soldado ; Kane was ready; Sandro's time was up (how many of us agreed at the time- not many?). His mouth got him into trouble but he spoke how I felt when we repeatedly getting walloped 4-0.

Re: Sugar, agreed - how can anyone NOT have some respect for someone who signed Klinsmann (twice!!), and took on the FA and UEFA and won when they tried to stitch us up. People forget he was putting the money forward- the managers were spending it on Tramezzani, Scales, Thatcher etc.The fact he still goes to the games is a credit to him too.

They are both tacos. No need to spoil the party.
