Someone mentioned this on a podcast. They knew Raya likes to go early and tried to take advantage of that with great success.

US tomorrow and villa at the weekend, with the press now turning their gimlet eye on him it won't take much to push the fans over the edge.

I could understand old Fraser Forster diving early as it takes him so long to get down to low shots but surely Raya must’ve realised by now that players are not going to fall for his antics against Porto ever again.
