I have been giving a gooner scum mate some stick over the last few weeks and he said I was getting boring so I thought I would change attack and do it in song...

And the strain is starting to show as Wenger opted to deflect the heat on the Gunners in his pre-match press conference bby taking a pop at rivals Tottenham.

LOL guess things got more negative for him now and the teams that gone out in ths group stage happier now!

How bad was it? The stats
  • The 10-2 aggregate defeat is the worst suffered by an English side in the Champions League
  • It was Arsenal's biggest home loss since November 1998 (5-0 against Chelsea in the League Cup)
  • Only one Champions League tie has seen a greater margin of victory for a team - Bayern Munich v Sporting Lisbon (12-1, 2009)

FA Cup?
The only reason they won the FA Cup in 2015 and 2014 was they turned up at Wembley and faced absolute brick sides.
Beating Wigan on penalties(!) and Hull in 2014
Beating Reading after extra time and Villa in 2015

Exactly! Actually if you read their forums a lot of their fans hate him nowadays as after 10 years he's hardly increased his skillset and symbolizes their malaise in that time
 
One thing that cannot be said is that Wenger has lost the dressing room: so many of that squad now are on big money and are VERY mediocre players who would be bombed out of most other serious top clubs, but are pampered and protected by Wenger. A lot of these mediocre players know that they owe their over-inflated wages (and cushy no-trophy targetting) football lifestyles to him.

That is the biggest fear i would have in terms of how far this 'meltdown' will last. The hope is that the serious world class/close to world class players who want to aim higher (Alexis? Cech?) continue to be in friction with the others and dropped....well one can only hope..
 
Wenger is supprised to hear that a number of the players want to leave. Ghod I hope he stays, just to spite the fans! ArsenalMania will be in complete and utter meltdown!
