Eerily familiar to last season i.e. everyone talking us up as the team most likely to catch the league leaders and people saying how we're better than Arsenal. I hope our players don't buy into to this and just focus on finishing as high up the table as possible. If we can't win the title, we have to get it out of our system quicker than we did last season and not let us demoralise us to the point where we don't win any of the last 4 games.
I won't believe we can finish above them (Arsenal) until we actually do it.

The odds are stacked against us. We are where we are largely because of Poch's brilliance as a coach and manager. Outside a very good first 11 we do not have much strength in depth, unlike our rivals, Arsenal included.
We also appear to be unluckier with injuries than in previous Poch seasons. Added to that we have a lot of games coming up.
I do like the UEFA cup and recognise our rich history in it but it is very difficult to sustain a league challenge while playing in that tournament so I think we are going to sacrifice it. Hope we can do well in the FA cup though.

Tottenham are enjoying another incredible season, but we know it will all go wrong at some point. We won't catch Chelsea, Arsenal will overtake us on the last day of the season, all our best players will eventually leave (those contracts means nothing), and Pochettino will one day be poached by one of the bigger boys.
Missing out on winning the title was gutting, but the embarrassment of throwing away second place to Arsenal was worse for many of the fans. St Totteringham's Day, Lasagnegate, Michael Dawson celebrating a Saudi Sportswashing Machine goal against Arsenal that didn't exist. It's all just a bit much.

In a heartbeat. And any Spurs fan that says otherwise is lying.

Apart from the last line about swapping places, he has not said anything wrong about the feeling of inevitable pain tbh. Last year would have cemented that feeling if we're being truly honest.
I like this piece coming out to dampen the pro-Spurs trolling that even Wenger is partaking in currently. All good stuff on balance

Indeed! If we beat Liverpool it would be so sweet no matter what they do. In fact; mentally the best scenario would be they beat Hull with a crap performance and we follow it up with a convincing win at Anfield. It will deflate them like mad i think...if Carlsberg did football results...
