I think it really depends on your mates and people you know...
I have some friends that are Liverpool fans and actually rather humble about football. Makes for interesting conversations and I never much had anything against them doing well as long as it wasn't at our expense of course.
Met some other Liverpool fans, then their Rodgers-title-bonanza-attempt happened... Now I really hope they fail miserably and repeatedly. Although I like Klopp so I suppose I've been moderated somewhat.
Leeds are now officially a relic of a bygone era! I loathed them in their so called pomp though.
Other than beating everybody we play, Arsenal are nowhere near the top of 'my' loathed rivals list. Liverpool, Chel53a and ManU beat them by a country mile. Arsenal occupy a spot just below West Ham and above Everton.
I have never had the venomous hatred that I see on here and other places.
wash your mouth out mate ...
Order of priority for spurs fan
#1 Back Spurs to win
#2 Look for Scum to lose/get relegated/burn down
rest after that is your personal like/dislike, for me
#3 look for Pool to lose, laugh at them
#4 look for Manure to lose, laugh at them
back on track ... hahaha, 5-1 against Bayern ... fudgeing hilarious

I do not like ManU but I am thankful that they exist because Arsenal would have won a lot more without them.
Same but not these days though. Rooney and Van Gaal are at the bottom of the pile for me.I've found myself liking united by default because of that, by far the lesser of the evils, stopping the goons and knocking those clams of their fudgeing perch

I'm a fan of both, when you consider where he came from Rooney's achievements are incredible, for many years he was a joy to watch and his selfless application helped others around him shine, notably Ronaldo
as for LVG, I admire his pragmatism and his not giving a fudge about other people's opinions, his palmares is obviously one to be envied
I've always liked Jermaine Jenas and I think he is an excellent pundit. But I cannot have him predicting an Arsenal title win. Sort it out Jermaine we never back those Cnuts especially not on national TV.
