Found some good tips:
-consider personality and media handling style when looking at assistant managers, especially if you plan on sending him to press conferences.
-Having more physios will result in players recovering faster from injuries and quicker fitness recovery after a match.
-If you have reached your staff allowance limit you can ask the board to allow you to sign more.
-Signing foreign staff with knowledge of other countries will expand your clubs scouting knowledge.
-Determination, level of discipline and motivating contribute to the training ability of coach along with the appropriate coaching attributes.

This has always confused me. Are those the only two attributes that matter to a scout, or does their "experience" somehow factor into it? Or if they have high ATT or DEF attributes, will they be better suited to scouting attacking or defensive players, respectively?

Determination, Motivation and Discipline are all important stats, not just for scouts but for all staff members. For example, if someone has 20, 20, 20 for Determination, Motivation and Discipline and only 15 for both judging potential etc. he'd be better than someone with 20 and 20 for those stats but low Determination, Motivation and Discipline attributes.

Regarding the attacking, defending and goalkeeping attributes are all for coaches, whether thats a youth or just normal coaching. Once again, Determination, Motivation and Discipline are all important, even Working with Youngsters is important if it's a youth coach.
