The FA Cup 2019-20 - The road to Wembley starts at Middlesbrough

Could be a rare Saturday 3pm FA Cup match. Can see a few ahead of ours in the TV stakes. Depends on how many will get shown over the 4 days

Tough draw, but one we should get through.

I always think the champ clubs players use it as a shop window and are more motivated.

You just beat me to it by seconds. Went there a couple of seasons ago. Quite a decent ground too
You must be joking, it vibrates when fans jump up and down. I'm not sure you could build a stadium cheaper. Do they still play pig bag when they score a goal? Joke stadium and club.

Yes but there is a difference between "go" and "good go".

Mourinho has only won the FA Cup once as a manager in England despite managing some of the best teams in the league with huge resources (big squads) and always puts the league and CL ahead of it, as everyone else does, so it will be more of the same in terms of being 3rd priority on the list.

Not when it his only realistic chance of silverware this year. This guy likes trophies.

Everyone likes trophies but that doesn't change the order of importance

Pretty sure there was quote from an interview recently where he's even stated getting in the CL again this season is his main concern for the remainder of the season.

We'll do what we always do and what all big clubs do, rotate in the early rounds when able and if we get to the latter stages field the first XI when we're a couple of games from winning it.

Mourinho is a wiley old fox though and has vast experience in the biggest games so we may well stand a better chance of going the distance because of that

Reminder that our team against Colchester had 4 defensive defenders and 3 defensive midfielders... funnily enough we laboured to create chances against a massed defence:

...........Gazzaniga
KWP Sánchez Tanganga Davies
......Dier Skipp Wanyama
......Moura Parrott Alli

Let's hope Mourinho chooses a more exciting line up
