I went to a meeting with England 5 down came back to see the Aussies 4 down !!!

Siddle bowled well from what I saw, some poor England shots, heard Anderson was superb as usual

Big first hour tomorrow
 
Just brought it up in the Tennis thread, but wanted some opinions on the influx of foreign mercenary players in the England team.
 
Just seems to be a lot at once at the moment. People wont support a guy who is british but will support a team, half of which are foreign.

as I said couldnt give a fudge, look at australian sport these days, half the player arent aussie born either..

I don't know any Brits who weren't happy to see Murray win, but it is different. Tennis players play for themselves, not under thier national flag as in team sports.

It's very murky waters. Pietersen is no less English than Prior, both born in South Africa with an English parent, except Prior has an English accent and Pietersen doesnt. I think Trott has an English parent too, I'm not sure.

Yeh i mean your rugby team last week they were all pure bred aussies werent they same as a lot of the olympics entrants

Yeh i really made up the pakistani stuff didnt I, so much so that all the media networks picked up on it

I think Agar needs a promotion up the batting line up.


Handled his test debut very well, looks composed, playing well. Granted England are bowling very strangely at him, but you can only hit what you're bowled.

Is this that Rubgy team that played the British team, even though theres an English team but we'll send a British team because you might have a better chance of winning? And you gave us stick about Newstralia or whatever that JOKE piece in the paper was during the Olympics about a combined New Zealand and Australia team (but your press picked it up as a proper story - do you believe everything you read in the papers? Did you know Brangelina are getting divorced?).

he has batted superbly well, him and hughes done well, Finn is shocking though
