Can't remember the full story but apparently he can't eat and or drink during games, suffers from sickness which is one of the reasons his body breaks down.

We should have appealed for handled ball there on Marsh and then withdrawn the appeal once given out. Lots of incidences in cricket where you can be C’s if you want to, some choose to, some choose not to.
