I thought before today we have a chance of turning this around but for me its done now. They have 300+ at their mercy and we don't have it to turn that around into a win IMO.

We have wasted this series with mistakes and dropped catches, its a shame as its just fundamentals

Not to mention we are still relying on Broad and Anderson, neither are spring chickens. And the Aussies have 4 of the top 10 batsman in world cricket whereas we rely on Root and Stokes to pull miracles out of a hat.

Added to that Robinson has been too interested in being the big man than bowling well, he has been shocking too. The Mooen Ali experiment has not worked, I would rather have blooded in Ahmed who is on sparkling form this season rather than roll out someone that retired, any hitting out the attack fears are there for all to see with Ali too.

I keep on but Foakes should also be in the side, fundamentals win tests, thats what the Aussies have got right over us
