The Centre Forward thread

Its the very nature of addiction. It is never cured, just managed to varying levels. And one of the best management strategies is removing all temptation
Honestly I don’t know where to start.

It’s on an individual basis. Addiction is very personal and with their own triggers. Being caught betting on a season doesn’t make you necessarily an addict.

I can 100% speak from experience. I spent more than I wanted one season and was ok enough to have a word with myself.

However you are pretty good at putting random previous scenarios together and then making them certain to repeat themselves out of pretty much nothing.

They are the two players in recent EPL history who have served extended bans for illicit betting - Toney banned for 8 months, Tonali banned for 10 months. And you think putting them together - with hours to kill on coaches and in hotels - doesn't create an unnecessary risk?

With addiction, it's often the case that you create peer mentorship groups amongst ex addicts after they break the habit. If you're a former addict then you phone up someone that understands the cravings and they talks you out of it. They understand as they've been there.

Putting those 2 guys together is exactly the opposite of what you say actually.

Yeah let’s not forget them trying to get a seat next to each other in the changing rooms or even go shower together when no one’s looking looool
