Llorente was good. Experienced can come off the bench knew what he was doing. Not the greatest but did a job.

Yep, to be fair they all had strengths but when you are compered to a world class striker in Kane this is a drop down in quality. Its like keepers i have read many fans calling out the likes of Freidel, Cudicini ( before they came first choice)etc over the years but they were all good keepers just not as good as our first choice.

He was functional and also linked up well with sonny
We need an option so Kane can get rest and Parrott can get another loan

I liked the look of that Hungarian centre forward tonight. He ran England ragged and created plenty of room for others. We could do with a bit of that up front. Maybe Richarlison can be the Llámela brickhousery with goals though.

So we would be shunting players around multiple positions
We need a CF… we have 1 and we’re aiming to be world class
I know I’ve repeated this loads but the lack of an additional CF skills us in key games as we lack that extra body that could be used or the player who can be that differentiator

I did like Rashford but a little worried he's lost his drive a la Dele but isn't he also on ridiculously high wages?
 
It’s silly to think that we will get a like for like for Kane, prefer to go down the alternative route and then be able to switch up play when a different style is needed and heavily reliant on one style of play.

A target man that just takes CBs with him and frees up space
It’s great in Europe as CBS don’t know how to deal with it

that’s an alternative way to play I agree, but what Lampard is happy to occupy the bench and can genuinely make a difference?

I think that would be a good option to have, given that the player is good enough and trusted by Conte of course.

This summer, we have some money floating around, we seem to be going for it in the transfer market. If we don't sign that player it will have to be that Conte doesn't see that option as that important, or that this kind of player isn't available?

I'm not sure we necessarily need a lamppost option. Another forward that's good with his back to goal, good link player with decent physical attributes could be enough.

Not seen enough of him to have a strong opinion, but seems like a talented guy. Read good things about De Ketelaere too.

Could be difficult to attract young, clearly very talented players like those to a squad role with Kane here, but definitely wouldn't be against us trying.

Older options could be considered too. Like I said, this window will probably give us a good view into what Conte thinks about this.
