These are fluid allow him to help pack the midfield without the ball and drift into channels and half spaces with the ball, creating overloads.
A bit like Kane's goal today, we saw Davies pushing high up, Royal pushing half up, Bissouma dropping deep as a shield, Skipp in a normal CM position, and because you've then got Leeds looking at Kane, Son, Kulu and Davies, so Porro pulls wide, the LB gets caught in between two options and Son uses that channel.
