Well I think Bill summed it up best when he said:
He's always had a bricke load of wrinkles. Not that I want to turn this into a would you or would you not bum Sheringham thread
I've always thought that approaching players/celebrities when they are out with their friends/family, is rude, and to be honest I think I would be rude too if some (drunk) clowns would approach me. Yes, it is always being said that the fans pay their wages, that doesn't mean the fans own the players and wouldn't leave them be.
Teddy Sheringham not being a Spurs fan... Well, I'm sure many of our great players have not actually been Spurs fans. And they wouldn't have to be, as it's a job.

He's a knob that scored goals for us. Who gives a fudge if it was his birthday.
Dear oh dear.
Doesn't bother me but just stay out of the thread then. Tons of RIP threads on here if I think the persons a clam or I'm not bothered I don't bother posting anything.
Then I hope you and the rest of the board will be respectfully silent when I post a happy B day thread for Judas

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United forward Teddy Sheringham says Spurs striker Harry Kane, 22, should consider a move to Old Trafford should the opportunity arise.
Absolutely classic footballer so suited to the legend of Tottenham Hotspur. Everything he did on the pitch looked like a piece of art. He always seemed to have an extra second than anybody else around him. The partnership with Klinsmann was incredible but it was his link up with Anderton (and Barmby to a lesser extent) that I'll remember him for. They did it for England too on many an occasion.
Seeing him score in Ledley's testimonial with a goal he's been scoring just as well for 25 years was remarkable and a fitting memory of him at WHL.
I was heartbroken when he left and booed him a few times when he came back but to be fair, with the benefit of hindsight, how could you begrudge him as a 30 year old when we were busy signing the likes of Scales, Vega, Sinton and Iversen whilst he had the opportunity to play in, score in and win a Champions League final (and the other league titles and FA Cups) as the biggest club in the country under the best manager of a generation.
I couldn't care less whether he's a taco in a nightclub or bar at 3am - for several years he WAS Tottenham Hotspur.
