tech help needed

Anyone know how to enable wireless connection to laptop mine only works when it is plugged into the back of the BT thing. I dont understand tech stuff and am only one in house.

Funny cos the washing machine break earlier as well. But I am determined to be more calm and relaxed these days. Any advice appreciated, the screen keeps telling me to press wireless button but i dont see one anywhere.

Is there a wireless icon with a Red Cross on it bottom right corner of the screen?
Maybe try right clicking on this?

Also maybe unplug the cable before trying to get it working, I think PCs are often setup to take this option if it is there

Try pressing FN > F1, works on my lappy.

Mrs and Jr Chich probably don't want him to be able to go mobile with the family laptop, keeping it hard wired in a public area probably prevents him disgracing himself too much. We shouldn't be helping him.
