I used to rate Negredo but whilst he's scored some goals at Seville he hasn't set the world on fire and looked shocking touch and movement wise for Spain the other day.

bar one game though, Gomez has looked like that most of the time for Germany

If the rumours about Seydou Doumbia are true though, him and Ade would also do very nicely!

.... My daughter has had a text before Brazils comments, and, it would seem that the appointment may be a WHOLE lot more than any suspect.........Pep Guardiola is being mooted! hence the delays etc, plus something to do with 'another party' (takeover/sell-out?)
It is all very hush, hush at the moment and extremely difficult to get a proper hook on it. But, there is going to be one BIG announcement that will shake the footballing world apparently!

Can't see Guardiola drop his year off plans, nor turn down moneybags Chelski to take over Tottenham.
Also, if AVB wasnt the manager after all this speculation - i'm fairly certain he'd rule himself out in the media.

Goal per minute played ratio last season would have had him at 25+ if played regulary.
At Portsmouth he scored every other game.
At Spurs he's never been playing full 90 minutes regulary - always off the bench or being taken off.
It's a huge reason why Darren Bent is considered more prolific than Defoe ^^
