****Spurs v Burnley****

Good result considering those missing and the injuries. Good tactical change at half time I was worried about sissoko playing in CM.
Thought Janssen played his part. Nothing spectacular but was handful for the Burnley defence which created the space for Alli and Eriksen to operate in.

Brilliant results for us today, was at work so missed the game and relied on txt updates!

Can we handle the pressure v Swansea knowing that Chelsea have a serious chance of dropping points v City? Winning at Swansea would be huge for us.

Our next 3 games:

Swansea (a)
Watford (h)
Bournemouth (h)

Chelsea next 3:

Emirates Marketing Project (h)
Bournemouth (a)
Man Utd (a)

A great chance to put them under some real pressure. Then we knock the qunts out of the cup and go on to win the double!

Fairs fair he missed some chances today

Results like this come from team performances though and even though we have had a real battle the team are doing their job so well

Missing chances is one thing. Playing poorly and missing chances would be another. He played well today, albeit always seemed to have a potential reducer on his mind. Eriksen was superb. Janssen worked his way into the game well...

I forgot to ask before kick off. Who would people most like to take from Burnley?

It just goes to show how good this team is that they can win despite your best efforts to sabotage it.

Sabotage it? Sabotage it? I came to the rescue when no other lazy fudger dared to start one. Less than 48 hours beforehand, we had no OMT. My insight rescued the day. You, nayenezgani and Billyiddo only had the temerity to question my effort. Meanwhile, I had all the faith in the team and in Poch. I did the same last season at Bournemouth away when no one else stepped up after we had had a run of dodgy results. You should be thanking me from the bottom of your bottom!

dont want Barkley anywhere near us tbh

I would prefer Isco, but would take Barkley. Who would you want to provide competition to Eriksen in the central playmaker role? We currently don't have anyone in the squad that can adequately replace him.

Eriksens part in the build-up to the 2nd goal was brilliant. Superbly won the ball followed by a peach of a pass for Alli.

Thought Janssen did well with limited oppurtunities. Set Davies up nicely, but wasnt given much to play with. Saying that, the Son substitution was perfectly timed as Burnley began to really open up at the back

Different positions. How about Zaha for NKD and Barkley for Sissoko. Now you're talking!

I think of we can offload Nkodou, Njie and Sissoko (or keep one of the first two) and being in Barkley and Zaha we will be even better (both of them are quick and direct which we miss at times)
