I’d imagine Mourinho would lose his brick over this - lack of preparation time etc.
If the PL don’t begin to stick to their original rules (the game must be played if teams can assemble 14 fit players) then the season isn’t going to make it to the end imho.

Everything is easier if the Euros is cancelled or postponed, which is perfectly likely.

Does this stem from the Everton City game? there's no way City couldn't get 14 players using their academy to field a team for that game, they pushed their luck and now this is where we are and that rule is unenforceable in the league.
Playing Fulham wouldn't be ideal but it would help us in terms of fixture congestion and is the sort of sensible flexibility the league need to think about to keep the competion on track. Logistically it doesnt look that much of a problem in terms of stadium preparation or travel.
If we dont play this week we will have 2 games to fit in with an other due to be added for the postponement of our Fulham match on League Cup final weekend and should we reach QF of FA cup an other would be added. This with playing in Europe would have us playing 2/3 games a week throughout February and March.

Fulham play FridayCompletely. It was ridiculous to cancel that game and a precedent has been set. Teams can cancel games whenever they want to now
If Fulham gets arranged for Wed then it wouldnt be ideal tactically, but our players are preparing for a game on Wed so its not the end of the world. Better to play them than no-one at all
I hope Levy is quoting the rules at PL HQ today, I believe when our team was struck down by food poisoning the position was "tough" you have enough "fit" pros
This was just so Pep could have the break he has always pushed for, shame on the PL for not seeing through it.
I don't see why Fulham would be annoyed, they already have to re-arrange 2 games - The last thing they want is a fixture pile up as well - just takes a easy cup draw for a couple of teams.
Fulham play Friday
The only issue that anyone has from the premier league is that our game is the sky TV game, so the biggy for TV
Our game could be moved to the week after in theory but that doesn’t work for Tv
