Which ones haven't?
Fans complaining that its not what we need but its pennies in todays market and if he is ready to go its the back up we need for Udogie (when fit).
1 box ticked, now lets go and get a top class left sided player and a ball playing CM.
No issue with this guy at all, the problem is timing/PR (which reflects a bigger problem at the club)
- This kind of signing doesn't take 2 weeks to wrap up, no reason it couldn't have been done as quickly as we punted Johnson.
- This is a youth prospect, regardless of his potential, the chances of him really helping Frank and the club out of the current issues is pretty much zero
- On that, where is the players that will help him?
No we may go on and sign 1 or 2 that will walk in first team, but they would likely have missed 4 winnable games, the toxicity of the fans will increase, the perception that the club is scrambling and have no coherent strategy will continue.
You haven't listened closely enough, he often questions if a particular player will work in European football.Tim Vicory. I've never heard him say a single negative thing or caveat to a player linked from S America ever. Made career out of proclaiming the next big thing on players heading to Europe, when few end up being anything special. Maybe that is just him and scouts seeing potential and players not developing...?

You plumVickery literally does that in the video you guys are discussing, so you didn't even listen to it.
He said that the Allison that Villa bought seems a bit brick, only had 1 season, only scored 1 goal and doesn't look good.
The Souza chat starts around 8.30 if you want to skip to it and actually listen.

As I remember it paulinho was doing fine until he was clattered by someone, you know one of honest, not that kind of guy, hard but fair players that British football seems to worship.Strange people ragging on the takes that Paulinho was a talent before signing with us. The fact that he ended up doing pretty well for Barca should tell you. He was a talent. Perhaps not suited to this league, but it wasn’t a crazy signing.
Anyway. Souza, the exact kind of player we can expect to sign given our station, to add to depth at left back. I’d rather it be a highly rated youngster with potential. And seems like we’ve done that. I’m happy.
