All we need to do is find two of the best defenders of their generation from a decent footballing country, who have played together from an early age, and partner them up again at the heart of our defence. Oh, and they need to be besties too. And half-decent at Catan.

The comments about the concussion impacting his form made me sadder still. I know good players don’t necessarily translate into good coaches but I really like the idea of him coming back to the club in some capacity. A real Rolls Royce of a centre back, my hope is Tanganga will be his replacement.
