Draxler is impossible for us to get (given his loyalty to Schalke and our lack of CL football), but if Bale leaves and there is even a small chance we could get Fischer, we should go at it, all guns blazing, and should be prepared to pay whatever it takes (within reason). That kid will end up being a superstar.

Well, if we cannot do those two deals, we could do worse than looking at Muniain, as someone here suggested. Not very prolific, and just off a bad season for Bilbao, but still very, very talented when he has the confidence to go out and run at the opposition.

Yes, but if Real give 68 million + Coentrao & DiMaria, does that mean we can get Lamela or Dzagoev for 12 + Gomes & Adebayor?

I'd be devestated if we spent that much on him. Pienaar looked great for Everton at one point...

We shouldn't spend large sums of money on aging left backs, and if Utd with Moyes at the helm haven't got him I don't think we'll be able to

If Everton aren't selling Baines to Man U then he wont be coming to us.

I think Michu is a good shout -we know he can play as a 9 and score goals in the PL but apparently his best position is as a 10 so could play him behind Soldado. He reminds of Berbatov and oozes the class of what we expect/hope for in a forward.

Michu and Soldado - 'the ****erel Conquistadrs' has a ring to it!!

I think he said PL club. So, Swansea for Michu (back-up or competition for Soldado), Southampton for Luke Shaw (signed a new contract, but, you know...monayyy), and Everton for Mirallas. Then shift Ade or Defoe, Rose, and one of Townsend or Lennon, and go overseas to find a Bale replacement (Hulk, Griezmann (unlikely, but you know...monayyy) or Lamela)

Agree with this. Certainly, Miraleis and Michu. Would have loved Countino, but think that ship has sailed.

i remember at the end of last season that we were strongly linked to Hatem Ben Arfa and the link came from absolutely nowhere

could he be a possibility? Im not convinced by him, seems to pick up injuries, is at times too selfish on the pitch, and apparently is very arrogant off it. Scores the odd screamer though!!
