I developed rheumatoid arthritis a few years ago and had to stop all my fitness routines, running long distance, weight training etc.
Started doing this https://ddpyoga.com/pages/program21 and went plant-based. Fittest and leanest I've ever been. I can burn over 500cals in 40 minutes without stepping off the yoga mat at home. Used to be on a ton of drugs for my RA but going plant-based has put it in a state of remission and minimal medication. I was veggie for 12 years prior however cutting out dairy has meant maintaining fighting weight is a piece of tinkle as long as I lay off the junk food.
