If a Muslim wrote the same about English people they would deserve prison too. These statements went viral and led to many people being harmed and cost millions to the tax payer in policing.

Which was a nasty tweet. What do you think criminal cash is used for? The enslavement and people smuggling or drug dealing and the harm that causes a society.

A Pakistani drug dealer has been allowed to remain in the UK because of his role in talking to his son about Islam and his culture.
The Home Office ordered the deportation of Muhammad Asif Karim, 43, after he amassed seven convictions for a total of 21 offences, including supplying the class A drugs heroin and cocaine, for which he served a four-year jail sentence.

He won his appeal against his removal after arguing that it would breach his rights to a family life under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
An upper tribunal accepted it would be “unduly harsh” on his son if he was to be deported to Pakistan, even though his child was being “largely brought up by his white British mother”.
The son gave evidence to the immigration court that his father “is able to talk to him about Islam, about Pakistani culture and his own upbringing”.


What has happened to this country that criminals can not be deported to preach nonsense to children (all religion is nonsense before the liberals get their knickers in a twist).

Let's do a proper check of this story for my truth seeker friend Danish

Key points:

* Arrived here aged 7 and not deported.
* Committed drug dealing offenses and served jail time, not deported. Deportation was taken off the table when he was a witness in a murder trial.
* Deportation procedures started and took over a decade due to under funding of migration/legal tribunals by Conservatives.
* The upper tribunal heard that he had avoided criminality for a decade, enjoyed a “parental relationship” with his son and had lived in the UK for 26 years, amounting to most of his life.
* Key matter **is not** 'to teach son about Islam', but:

The son gave evidence to the immigration court that his father “is able to talk to him about Islam, about Pakistani culture and his own upbringing”.


The tribunal also noted that the boy’s mother felt that Karim had a “positive impact” on the child. It said he “could talk to his son about studying and job choices, he could teach him to shave and talk to him about things a mother could not”.

Personally, I wouldn't add this as evidence in his favour.

The government f*cked up on this one by letting it drag out for so long. If he'd been deported from the get-go, I don't think most folks would be complaining.

Well we finally agree on something should have been kicked out months ago. Believing in sky fairies does not mean drug dealers or any criminals get to stay in the country.

The Conservatives and Labour are exactly the same on law and order and illegal immigration.

Yep and she went to prison, that was not the purpose of my post. It was that the Ukrainians in the article avoided prison because they 'were decent people' so the broke the law a criminal offence.

People breaking the law criminals, should go to prison. I thought you had children. Do you not want your children to be safe and in a couple try where people can not get away with criminal acts just because a judge deems them 'decent'.

Read the whole article. The reason for not deporting him was actually due to a whole host of things and the Telegraph have highlighted one point to enrage easily influenced headline readers like you. You aren't interested in facts. You are interested in what ever suits your prejudices.

I did read the whole article. The is one factor, he is a criminal, having a child does not stop you being a criminal.

You have been brain washed by liberalism to care more about criminals then the greater good of society. Even when 'decency ' and common sense says the man should be removed you will always take the opposite opinion. You accuse others or prejudice but frankly your showing it yourself all the time.

Like how I never said someone sending nasty tweets should not be in prison. But when I see people get off lightly after being found guilty I say its lucky they did not send a nasty tweet. But you can never admit to these things, your showing your prejudice and I believe you to be a bigot.

You take a contrain view every time. I would thought everyone should want a harmonious society where criminals go to prison and people without residency get deported.

That is a load of waffle Chich. I'm sorry you spent time writing it as it's your usual deflection. Her crime carried a sentence and justice was served. The Ukrainians should have been jailed but the 2 things are connected in your mind because you have bought in to the sob story about Lucy.
