So one of the things I work incredibly hard on, is not to raise my kids to be racist, extreme, homophobic, transphobic.

It's hard though as their experiences can make them hate. When they are looked at and treated differently in an ever more vitriolic world.

Remember my kids are Pakistani like me. A percentage of this country and some intelligent people think my kids are more likely to be vile predators when they grow up and than anyone else. It's been implied directly on here by very prominent and senior posters.

Hate begets hate. I'm going to do everything I can not to raise hateful people. I hope I have successfully done this.

It's all you can do, then hope that as they go out into the wider community their good example is enough to convince others that maybe the crap they were brought up with isn't the way forward.
