The state of Israel IS a fascist state.

Any Jew (religiously, ethnically, however you define it) who is able to recognise the scale of what is happening deserves to be applauded and I wholeheartedly consider a friend.

They know their own opposition may be uncomfortable for them - socially, interpersonally, morally… may cause them problems in understanding where they fit.

But they refuse to let the memory of the holocaust die

Any Jew at all who says that maybe the (completely separate from Jewishness as a whole) state of Israel should perhaps do better is a friend.

Because it’s not about ethnicity. It’s not anti-Zionism. It’s not antisemitism. It’s pro humanity all the way. We can all so easily be on the same side

There is fault on both sides.

For me Hamas are absoloute scum for what they did to innocent Jewish men, women and children. And honesty I am glad that Israel had an (EXTREMLEY LEGITMATE) excuse to wipe them from the face of the earth

But as a long term approach.... and looking at the broader picture. MAYBE it has gone too far?

I find it completely bewildering that at one point support of Israel was a left wing thing. The right wing decried it as Zionism...

Now days I think if the state of Israel (not Jewish people or persons because they are a seperate relgion/ethicnity) is being supported by the likes of Trump and Tommy Robinson... and suddenly its excusable to give a Nazi salute.....

MAYBE its worth asking if the state of Israel is now (not necessarily pro-Nazi) but nazi sympathising?

Get Netanyhu out. Change the entire approach. And maybe people won't question it anymore.

Don't have the guy in charge who excuses nazi-sallutes as completely non-Nazi

If you look into the history of zionists they were the first ones to use the 'from the river to the sea' mantra. That went into the Likud charter in 1977 before Hamas took it up.

Whilst this is now not explicitly said on one side of the fight it has been the underlying ambition of a powerful section of Israeli leadership, including Netanyahu, for a long time. As you say, the religious argument is just cover for a land grab.
