I suggest any ST holders of less than 5 years standing check their loyalty points.
I've had my ST for 2 full seasons now, entering year 3. But I've had points deducted, and have seen the same thing being mentioned by others on twitter.
I emailed the ticket office and got a generic reply about the rolling 5 year system - which is irrelevant until I have had my ST for 5+ years.
Seems they might have deducted points going back to when I was a Member, even though all those points were already zeroed out when moving onto the ST scheme.
I assume it will be rectified in due course, but keep an eye on your accounts to make sure you don't incorrectly lose points.
Thanks for the heads up. Just out of interest how many points were you on and are now on (I've got 127). Reason I ask is my history is now only showing from the beginning of last season (18/19) and I wanted to know if we're both in the same ball park. OK my total is 19 more than that showing in the history but that only covers 1 point for each home prem. match. What about the 35-40 you get for signing up for a season ticket and cup games? No History of that and so I can't check the 17/18 season.
I was on 120 end of last season (I know this as I was hopelessly hoping the CL final cut off would drop that low) and it had updated on the OS to 150 this month which would be this years renewal. I then joined the Auto Cup scheme so it should have gone up to 160. Instead it’s now at 141.
I thought it was adding the cup scheme that had led to the error somehow but it seems to be a wider problem.
Could it be we've lost the original amount we got for getting a season ticket for Wembley 17/18? Can't be a cull of Memberships Points, with the figures dropping off mine I'd be on nil now
Issue I've got is I've given up checking my points, as the way things are, I've got f' all chance of getting anything that goes to loyalty points anyway. That said, if they keep screwing up like this, I still won't any chance in 2 or 3 years time
No, nothing should get culled until you after you've had the ST for 5 years.
It's a c0ck-up. I don't see why it should be so difficult to apply a formula that automatically deducts points for the appropriate year but I get that mistakes do happen.
What annoys me is that I sent an email explaining the issue and that I've only had a ST for 2 full seasons and they don't bother to read it, just send me back a generic mail explaining the 5 rolling year concept.
Sorry when I said "lost the original amount we got for getting a season ticket for Wembley 17/18" I meant they've fvcked up and taken them off us by mistake, not culled them. Totally agree, the way the system works, we should be getting 5 years to build a reasonable base of points. With all the money they've spent recently on the shiny new stadium, you'd think they would've applied some of that cash to ticketing systems
I had another check of points and it looks like they've fixed this.
