i am so glad that we nailed this one
so many players that we courted for so long that turned into nothing - great to get rid of that ghost finally !
 
I really hope the chase for him is worth it. Just means we need midfield to move the ball quicker into the front 3 than they did in the just game, and way more accurately
 
Can't say I've seen enough of him to have a strong opinion but I trust that the club and RDZ have done their due diligence on him and there is a good reason that we've pursued him for so long.

The result on Saturday was a massive kick in the nuts but you have to be fair to the board, they're doing everything that we've been asking for since the stadium opened. They've played a blinder this window so far. RDZ also has bundles of credit in the bank for his heroics last season and the type of football he wants to play.

It feels like we are Tottenham again rather than the zombie version of the club we've been since the death throes of Poch's reign. All we need now are the results...

I think he wanted out because Doku was ahead of him on the left and they then signed Semenyo on the right so he was not getting enough minutes. I think he is happy playing where ever. He is clearly going to be playing on the right until Kudus comes back which will be another 4 weeks until he starts game imo.

My opinion is he plays off the right until Kudus returns, then he plays off the left with Kudus right.

He wants us because either way, he's going to play pretty much every game.

Interesting in the RDZ pre-match presser, he said we have been actively negotiating for Savio since a week after the Everton game last season.

Henry Winter doesn't know what hes talking about. His best position is on the left, but can play either side.

That makes sense. Kudus wanted to play right at WHU but couldn't as Bowen was there. Savio wanted to play left at City but also accomodated others. Both these guys will want to end up the side where they've played the least in the English game.
