I like Mason
I think bale was the issueIt's wonderful to see one of our own in charge but not too sure on the subs today. Easy to say in hindsight but non-figuratively no one was calling for Sissoko on considering we have N'dombele on the bench with the press we were facing. That's a worrying sign but hope we'll have a strong finish under his stewardship and at least get some kind of European football for next season, f*ck the snobbery.
I wouldn't have used run as I don't think it's a concept most of our players are familiar with in finals.i think Mason is too young to assert himself.
the final looked like it was run by players.
I think bale was the issue
If he wants bale in he needs a player to cover for him
Unfortunately it was the bale I thought we would see rather than the one I hoped
Let's see how he does for the rest of the season and then make a call.
He could be the next Naggelsmann, AVB, Mourinho.
He could not.
Bale is an issue full stop.
Thats 3 managers that haven’t trusted him now.
maybe it’s not the managers?!
Amazed that some expected Mason to do any better then he did, some of the abuse he has been getting on social media is embarrassing to say the least.
Result = expected
Abuse on social media = completely uncalled for.
Where I think people rightly question is the trio of Winks, Sissoko and Dele choices while failing to leverage Ndombele or Lamela off the bench. Almost like the last time he looked at a Spurs squad was 2 years ago ..
Fixedsocial media is embarrassing to say the least.
Even if it is only Sheffield United, yesterday had lots of promise that we can look a different outfit with a more attacking plan. We saw players looking to play first time passes, cross field balls and pressing. Bigger tests to come of course but Tim Sherwoods Prem win % record is under threat!
if somehow we did win all the matches and ended up with CL it would be quite sexy to replace him and actually gives the new man a difficult start. When AVB and Mourinho came in the previous manager has finished 4th the season before, which makes that a minimum target and if Ryan remains on the staff there is a ready made caretaker waiting in the wings if things don’t look to be goig well. Still it’s a dilemma I would love us have come the end of the season!
If there was, Poch was the one we should have done that with. He needed a break....Is it possible to loan out a manager?
