Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

It’s not just the positive comments relating to our players. It’s also the subtle digs towards our rival Weat Ham. Saying it’s 200% a foul on the corner and he’s confident Leeds will play just as hard against them is to just tip the scales on them getting any favours. The comment about the refs not being calm insinuating they were not prepared to make a tough call on the penalty at the end.
Not sure where the idea comes from that teams won’t try hard, more points = more money for the clubs to invest for next season. Everyone will be pushing to finish as high as possible

Right fellas ...let's look at it from the Hammers pov.

As it stands they need to win a game (2 draws won't cut it)
If we get 1pt, they need to win a game and draw one
If we get 2pts they need to win both games
If we get 4pts it's all over

Our two opponents are 17th and 19th in the form table (last 6 games)

WHs 4th and 15th.

I'd not be feeling good reading that as a Hammer.
i'd be feeling better if our players cut out horrendous mistakes that a championship player would avoid.
we'd be struggling to win in the championship at this rate

I thought form guide didn't matter, or does that only qualify when it's of benefit to us? ;)

At the end of the day, we can list all these reasons that sound good on paper. But the facts are, we are playing Chelsea away who regardless of form is one of the worst games you can ask for. And we haven't won a home games in the league since last year. Whatever way it's dressed up, West Ham look more capable of beating a poor Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Leeds at home than we look likely to get a win in either game....

I think we’re going to need a win on the last day and, if we do, it’ll be very difficult to have much confidence that we can do it.

Then again, maybe that’ll be the story…Spurs EVENTUALLY win at home to stay up. 🤞🤞 🤞

That is my worry, that we will need to win on final day - just don't have real confidence in us at home, my only hope is Maddison being fit for it as he can unlock a defence who are deep.

If West Ham draw at Saudi Sportswashing Machine, I'm confident we can do it. If they win, I'm (more) nervous.....

Excuse me, mine are facts as well.

Been stunned how much everyone wants us to go down.

Asked a N ewcastle fan in work yesterday if he thought they would take anything off West Ham on Saturday.

His response? “I hope not.”

Was that more about Eddie Howe though? I do think some Toon fans want to see an outcome where he is "upgraded" next season. Losing their last 2 dead rubber games can help that process.

This is the part that is unique to Spurs

- We are not quite an elite club but the gap between us and the rest is considerable
- We are the default "rivals" for every loser London club that doesn't have a real local rivalry
- The elite clubs hate the fact that we broke or threatened their monopoly (Sky 4)
- The "well run" clubs hate the fact that their success will never match ours in long run
- The cheaters hate the fact that someone pointed out you can improve without cheating
- Our fanbase is big enough that media gets to ragebait clicks successfully.

One of the things I give Ange credit for, that quote that "something about Spurs drives people mad"

Funny part is for a league that seems to cater a lot to protect its investments (supposed top clubs), it's missed the fact that Spurs being out of the PL will be a much bigger financial impact to all the league than any of the other candidates.

I'm glad RDZ calls out some of the stupid brick, it's something that constantly needs to be done.

We are a massive Football club.
levy done a very poor job witt the thfc brand- esl, corporate espionage, 3x no transfer ins windows, highest paid chairman etc., paying for top coaches hoping for instant wins., spanking new facilities without the football to show for etc.

its easy for any neutral to hate thfc just following the headlines in the media

Nope. He was clear he wanted us to go down. I asked if he wanted to finish above Sunderland and he said he wasn’t fussed, he’d rather we went down.

I'm not, most people dislike Londoners, can't blame them I find a lot rude and arrogant.

They don’t seem to mind that West Ham are from there, mind you. 😀
