Radu Drăgușin

They haven’t paid big money for any players of his age for a long time
Well worth people checking out their transfer records
If he was under 21 maybe but he ain’t
He isn’t consistent either
They will want him for half that fee and he will play silly buggers for a period until they cool off their efforts

OK. I have no certainty or knowledge to that extent.

I think we speculate more about him going to Madrid than they do about signing him
But the last money signing they made was. Bellingham … different age profile
Then it was Endrick and the Turkish kid
The last time they spent big money on a player over the age of 22…… Eden Hazard
Now it may be just a plan but I don’t think they want a guy who is 27 for £100m or even half that who lacks all round world class qualities.
His world class strength is passing but they have that in their squad already

Again my friend, I have no factual information. The trusted sources said inquires (informally!) were made, the player would not be averse, and that's where we are. His current form would not put off anyone. Form is temporary. Militao, Rudiger and Alba are (for a side like them) upgradeable. Perhaps they target Saliba instead? Perhaps they decide to spend on both? Perhaps none of course.
I personally think Romero will look to move in the summer if we don't win something and/or get CL football, and I'm sure he's been quietly tapped up by some suitors.

He will deffo be tapped up
That’s normal
But I do not see a suitor paying a fee we would consider
A prem team would be the only type lf club with the ££ and none would want gun that are above us imo
Maybe Chelsea if they are still throwing money around
It’s not because he isn’t of quality but imo it’s because he has weaknesses that haven’t been addressed in his game

yes mate, you've made your opinion exceptionally clear at this point ;-)

The problem I feel sometimes this allows the defense organise. The same problem when Kulu was on the right, we would break, but his lack of use of his right foot, meant he stopped, cut inside, and by this time the defense had organised a lot of the time.

I'm just not sure that is a good stratagy.

And to many times it has resulted in passing between the cb's slowly moving backwards and playing ourselves into trouble.

Maybe it's a good tactic when we are 3-0 up or something, not so sure when we are chasing a game.
I'm sure there are instances where that has happened. I watch games on TV and surely there have been situations I haven't seen where a quicker pass was on and it wasn't taken.

The way I see it he mostly plays slow when the opponents are already settled. These for me are situations where passing tempo gets overrated and purpose of passing is more important. He quite often seems to be waiting for movement and gaps, his progressive passes in these situations are often really good when he finds them. Like when he played a perfect pass to Solanke's chest against Ipswich.

Us moving backwards in these situations to invite a higher pressure from the opponents is also part of our strategy imo. Creates space and movement for us to exploit.

He played a perfect pass to solanke's chest once, his next three went out of play.

he needs an extended run with in a stable pairing to be fair
ideally vdv can make a swift recovery and the both of them can keep romero out for a while.

His game got to 90 minutes at 0-0 and was then interrupted and then abandoned!

Reddit says "Romania doesn't recognize Kosovo because it will represent a precedent that can be used by the Szekely minority in Harghita and Covasna. Similar reason of why they are also not recognized by Spain. It's simple geopolitics, and most people in Romania really don't have an opinion about this situation...at all."

Someone said he was slightly at fault for the goal conceded, but I've not seen it

Dragusin perhaps could’ve done better with his body shape to deal with this cross, as he was caught flat footed and ended up lunging for the ball which came off his studs perfectly for Pittas to score; although Romania had enough defenders back to help Radu out.

Played 67 minutes of Romania’s win over Cyprus last night.

See that his agent hinting at a move back to Italy again.

I'm fed up listening to his agent, if he played great and only had 3 or 4 appearances I'd understand his frustrations. However he's been mostly average with some stupidity thrown in for good measure.

Would probably be well advised to dump the agent and concentrate on his game.

Thank GHod he is getting some game time and his confidence back. Since joining Spurs he's been on a downward slope mentally. I bet he was reliving his Juve days, polishing the bench...
Physically and game-wise he is still a beast, but the mental factor took it's toll.

So shocking to see all these critics for a stupid red card which made no difference in the end.. and a couple of not-so-big errors.. although he did quite well overall, I would say.

But hey, he is Romanian, which means he is going to be judged differently ;)

Great win Spurs, great win.
