Racism in football

I’m a middle age white man. The only time I’ve ever felt racism towards me was positive… as in no sure your our guest please go ahead of me so clearly I can’t comment on a negative side
But … as always is the case… I can call it out like we all should
How on earth anyone can support a club like our own or any club in this country or most in Europe TBF and make comments about the one thing the person can’t control (their parents) I’ll never fudging know
And then calling people woke because the want the world to keep on progressing… fudging bizarre

Scary thing is people like that will make some rope fearful on calling it out
I’ve had 2 black guys next to me in the stadium for years and the guy now to my left is mid/late 60s. He has heard it all I’m sure but I’m even conscious of saying something such as who’s the big black guy up top for that team. I just try to be better than I was when I was younger and watched Jim Davidson videos with my parents thinking calling my back mate Chalkie was fine. I’d didn’t know better then but I bloody do now

As Jew and a white Jew I have had it alot by association, Leeds, Chelsea and West Ham was dreadful, easy to roll with as a white bloke though, almost "heard it all before". and not everyone knows you are a jew because you look par for the course (not to sound Diane Abbott) .............but it makes me more aware what people of coloured skin or deeply different religion have to go through here. I said it before the NF types who now befriend us Jews against others hated us 20/30 years ago, probably still do, so I am not accepting half the bo11ox spouted about race and issues on here or by the likes of TR and co.

If thats Woke, then yeh, I am woke as fcku and proud of it

I’ve really or been exposed much to it but I grew up with mates of all races and religions
I live in one of the most diverse towns in the country and we’re really proud of it (the council had to call our Farage on a few thing he got wrong about the town). And we are far from perfect (myself very much so)
I say to my kids judge people on their actions… and if someone is nice to you be nice back… or be nice first
Right now I’m sat by a pool whilst my kids play with a group of French and Irish kids including 2 darker skinned kids who I think are mixed race… there is a language barrier but a doing as they know when to race down the slides… who cares. They aren’t judging anyone except the kid who did cheat and go early 😉

For what it's worth, I am extremely pro Israel in the present situation

and that's how it should be, let's not judge people by their talents and abilities, and not give favour based on colour or race. Finally, whilst I don't consider I am a racist, I still don't think it is ultimate crime

So you support a terrorist group who started this ridiculous action. Fortunately our England women's team have the sense to have stopped it. I for one will boo any group of players who take the knee. It's complete and utter virtue signalling that has no place in our society, and it came about from people supporting a vile black man with a criminal record as long as my arm.

No I don’t.
I am happy to leave it up to our players to decide whether they think it is highlighting racism or not. If they want to take the knee I will support them.

So having a criminal record means you can be killed by the police? fudge we have a long way to go.
