Pushing Up The Daisies

Been keeping this one to myself but RIP the old man, passed away last week after a long illness, battle with dementia, two strokes and a heart attack to boot in the week before he passed. Proper Spurs, love that I got to see the EC win with him, will cherish that.
I'm really sorry to hear that. My girlfriend mocks that all me and my dad ever talk about is Spurs, rather than the serious stuff of life. But actually having that to share is a great thing that creates a easy and ongoing connection you don't always have with all close family members. I hope he had a happy life and the later health issues were made as comfortable as possible for him

Sorry to read your sad news, I know personally that your parents leave a massive hole in your life but you will always have your memories of all the good times and the unquestioning love they gave you.

My thoughts are with you mate. I went through the entire dementia cycle with my mum who we lost in 2024. As said above, try to focus on all those happy times together.

Very sorry mate, I went through similar myself last year, I know what you are going through.

You'll miss him every day, but that is a good thing.
