There is no reason for Bent & Sarr to be given extra time off , especially Bentancur he went out in group stage must mean both not in managers plans.

FIFA regulations mandate 3 weeks holiday after major tournaments. Senegal were knocked out 2nd July so Sarr’s 3 weeks is up today. Too late for the tour. Bents could have gone though. Not sure I’ve seen him in any preseason footage

According to both BBC and ESPN football results Senegal went out against Belgium on the 1st July, Austria went out to Spain on 2nd July , Danso played yet he is on the tour.

Fair enough. I stand corrected then. The FIFA rule is no football so I guess you’re allowed to return to the club early and travel

Yes, think that's more likely no actual playing time for at least three weeks, even with travelling back from USA Danso has probably had a good full two weeks relaxing somewhere most likely around the Med .
 
It could be the case they aren't needed, but could certainly be putting two and two together and coming up with the incorrect answer.

Could be a plethora of reasons why they haven't travelled, and we have had no problems in the past announcing officially that players have stayed behind from a tour to find a new club.....

Indeed. Might have picked up a knock from the WC so resting, he is also the mid RDZ knows best as he played I think every game under RDZ as a starter for us.
 
Looks like we're already seeing Kudus and Kulu behind the pre-season schedule of the main group of players. They're not on the plane.

It’s basically a mixed squad of youth and senior so you’re wading through unknown teenagers. The reality is that isn’t anything like the senior 24 man squad we’re starting the season with..

Edit: just to elaborate on this, we have 14 youth team players and 21 first team there and then of that first team group 4 are very likely sold or loaned out ( Bergvall, Moore, Solomon & Takai), so leaves 17 “real” first Trainers in that 35 man squad.

That leaves the 4 big injuries and 6 other first teamers given time off for the World Cup.

I also looked at it first time and thought WTF but when you look at the breakdown it ain’t that bad…

the large squad is also for training games and instilling dezerbi systems and imparting them to the youth squads for when they eventually separate from the mens team.
