Despite what Levy says to the contrary I think the stadium build has a lot to do with it, then getting players that will actually make us better is difficult.

Ok, that's one way of looking at it or we can say that they have added much more depth to their team this year meaning they are more likely to sustain a challenge where they failed last year. Just because we finished second last season doesn't mean we are a shoe in for it this season.

I imagine if he is going to be a part of our first team we will have a few more of those, because he is finding his feet and as we develop him we have to understand he will have some games where he is lost. I still remember Kane in our Europa league games thinking this kid will never make it.

You think we came up short last season?
 
That is not meant to belittle in any way the achievement of finishing with 86 points. But it wouldn't be nice to also win the damn thing we have been so close to for the past 2 seasons.
 
We can all kid ourselves by saying it's only a friendly, but we haven't got anywhere near them! Been thoroughly outclassed today.
