He's not a bad striker, and I would be happy with him in the sense that Long is better than no 2nd choice at all, but for a team that wants to retain it's current place amongst the best Long isn't the answer. I wouldn't feel comfortable at all having him up front in a Champions League game unless it was against Shamrock Rovers or other such nonsense.
