Project fear working well then.

It's not project fear anymore, it's the economy and our government making a balls up of it

And it still has even started quite yet.
Special two year parliament, two of Davis' Brexit ministers 'reshuffled' without his prior knowledge... better strap in.
Its still completely subjective. The customs union is the risk-averse low-reward status-quo. It's tying ourselves still to the stagnating 15%. Leaving the customs union means removing the disincentives to the more dynamic upwardly mobile 85% and re-engaging much more with them.
Get over it

I prefer what the leaders of some of the eastern european countries were saying recently about France and Germany wanting the EU to take control of taxes after Brexit. Will get the quotes when i get home am out with my son at the moment.
Also the EU army we were told would not happen is now back on the agenda, another lie from project fear.
No point replying to me in future your on block so i wont be able to see your posts. I hold no time for people with extremist views. Good day to you.
It is not subjective, the economy is going arse over tit. I'm willing to listen to what you are proposing but you need to back it up with some evidence. At the moment your views on life outside the EU/customs union feel a bit like you championing the next south American wonder kid.
Were as staying in them is like condemning yourself to a life of Sissoko - based mainly on the argument that he probably can't get any worse and he was once sort of good for other people.
Anyway I watched Kier Starmer on Andrew Marr earlier and his line on the negotiations was again exactly the same as Davis' (free trade agreement cf single market etc). The only cigarette paper between them is he said he'd have a more constructive tone than May (not necessarily Davis) and that he wants some sort of permanent enshrinement of current workers' rights in the Great Repeal Act (so they can't be eroded at a later time)
