Seen things saying we’d made an offer, something else saying terms agreed with the player, and something else showing his brother is following Spurs:D None of which comes close to an agreement being reached….
 
If in theory we had Romero at RCB and Hincapie at LCB, we'd need a big, commanding CB in between them

Its not very futureproof if they can't play in a two alongside Romero though. We really need someone versatile enough to do both, which Ndicka sounds much more able to.

It could be. Could play the big CCB alongside Romero or Hincapie in a back 4, or maybe our 4th choice CB would be big too?

Agree though that a 6 foot and 6 foot 2 CB pair might leave us exposed

Ballplaying, quick, organiser. Plays centre of a 3, but sometimes get moved right if he's getting bullied by a big CF (he's not big/is poor in the air). Could be a Foyth, could become a Stones. Just think he's worth a punt as a 4th choice to develop for the medium term (replace Tanganga effectively).

HG is an issue but you can have 17 non HG players named, so even with just 3 say HG players to get you to a 20 man squad, you can get by with then having some decent youngsters

We're going to find it hard to compete for finished article HG players so need to be signing 1 Spence-like player per year

Looking at all the signings this window and the summer most clubs seem to don’t care or have a work around

You can. If the manager trusts those youngsters and they're good enough.

Ending up in a situation where you either have to loan or sell a player or end up not being able to register them is not a good situation to be in.
