This is kind of what I was saying, in that most of our crosses come from the right. Thanks for posting this btw, since my point is that 8/23 successful crosses seems suboptimal, but I'm not necessarily placing ALL the blame on Porro. I do think he can vary his crossing a bit or try to be more deliberate with the crosses he puts in.
My real point is that as it's one of his strengths, Porro should be finding more success with crossing but as we've all seemed to state, it could just be the system that's too slow in buildup allowing opposition center backs the comfort of heading crosses away with ease.

Symptomatic of how we play in general now but he did hesitate and take an extra touch quite often on Monday when the ball was laid back for him to whip it in.
Quality is there but the timing is off IMHO.

Not a massive fan of him defensively but he was brilliant tonight, he really was. Loved his reaction to the first goal too. Great performance.

Could easily play where Johnson does imo.
Not saying he couldn't, but I don't think it's as simple as some make out. The position he would get the ball would be more advanced and he'll have to run with it from a static position I don't think that's his strength and he doesn't beat a man.
When he receives the ball from deep he has more space to run into, and can play those long balls over the top which he wouldn't do from further up. Just like the suggestion of Romero as DM, they sound great in theory but in practice it's not as simple....
People forget, he's a WB for a 3 atb system (and he was bought to be that), at that he's very good, his numbers are consistently up there with TAA (who is playing in a much better/more successful side).
He's adapted to being a FB in a 4.
Guy is a very good player that if he left would go to a better side, being hung out to dry game after game by brick tactics and fans all over his back is a bit OTT for me.
