Pedro Porro

This seems to be a trend unfortunately. I'm hoping next season, he can become a bit more solid and not allow slip-ups (literally and figuratively) as they're costing us. TBF, that whole situation was a series of bad play from Davinson to Lloris rushing out and getting dinked, but Porro is the one who ultimately got caught.

Also was hoping his crossing would be a bit more lethal. Felt like we were trying to force something so hard via crossing today. We had a few decent chances at the end but ultimately nothing. Porro needs to focus on his defending for the rest of this season, then focus on attack next season when we hopefully have a manager who's got a brain.

Unless we can convert him into a wing forward, I think cash in on him and use the money on an ACM. Spence and Royal are probably better long-term prospects at RB

Its hard to judge him in this brickshow. Wait til we have a proper manager and proper system

He clearly has ability on the ball, pace and work-rate. A half decent manager should be able to make something from that
Only because he did the same thing in the Spanish national team last month. I was hyping up Porro pretty hard right before we signed him but yeah, I actually think he'll do better next season.

Isn't that where he started playing, before moving back to RWB?
I would push him forward now (if Davies and Royal are fit) and move Kulusevski central.

Gives us pace on the wings with Porro and Son (or Danjuma)
Kulusevski to drop in between Skipp and Hojbjerg to collect the ball and get it forward.

Lloris
Royal Romero Lenglet Davies
Skipp Hojbjerg
Porro Kulusevski Son
Kane

Royal and Davies are out for the season though.

I thought thought they were both back training, and Davies is close to being available again (might have got Royal wrong, and it's Sess that is closer to a return)
I remember seeing somewhere Sess is close to a return, but Royal from memory there are some recent images of him starting light training - I think his return is a while away….

The most recent updates are:

Davies has been back in full training since 6 April and is potentially back for Saudi Sportswashing Machine
Royal there was a 3-6 week timeframe given on 29 March
Sessegnon's last estimated return was for United at the end of the month

No, he has played most of his career as a RWB and then RB before that.

Just need to give him time, he will learn from his mistakes

Agreed. We have a reasonable group of players with decent ability - Porro, Romero, Bentancur, Bisouma, Kulua, Richie, Son, Harry - just need a decent manager to install a sensible system and plug some obvious gaps this summer, notably GK, CB (with leadershpi skills) and a creative attacker. Add a handful or emerging players too like Skipp, Sarr etc. Might sound odd to say it after the rubbish of recent weeks, but I do think there is the core of a very decent team at Spurs
