Patrick Roberts the new Bale?

this shows a bit more of what he's about. Looks good I suppose but theres always a kid that looks head and shoulders above the rest but amount to nothing when they become more senior, so won't get too excited for now!

errrrm , sorry mate i beg to differ

you are completely correct in being cautious as so many have fallen by the waist side.........Bojan for instance i thought was a slam dunk for top top level footabll throughout his career ..... BUT i have to say

this guy looks like the real deal.........i havent seen anything of him aside from you tube clips...although i HAAAAATTTTTEE making snap judments on those....there are a few times i'll give an exception and thats when the clip actually shows the expertise of a player for the position they play....looking at this boys highlights I would make a bold statement and say that this boy will be a career premier league player VERY soon

I think he will start for england in 5 to 7 years...if i have the pleasure and fortune to still be conversing with you by that time remember i said it.

having said that i was certain nathan porrit would play for england...look how that turned out LOL

Was this an 1882 game?

It was an 1882 game & good fun it was too - was only around 50 of us there but still created a great atmosphere!

Roberts certainly looked the part on the night.

fantastic win on penalties \o/

And much deserved......

And what do you know....england cruise through the penalties...all 5 dispatched with confidence and ease. (while the dutch go all flaky)

What was noticeable in this game is how many times we had much more power and strength than the dutch, and it wasn't all up and under, hurly-burly stuff we had there match (and more) in the technical department too. Some of our boys were like whippets and refreshingly the ones with the tricks and skills were all still looking to pass it if that appeared the better option.

I thought Josh Onomah looked a class act.....wasn't sure who he played for?........only Tottenham f*cking Hotspur!

I'd love us to sign both Roberts and Joe Gomez from that U17 side, proud of Onomah as well

Yep me to. That Alli kid at MK Dons is worth keeping an eye on as well. It is good our youth team is improving and we can produce better players ourselves but the is still the opportunity to go out and get some talented youngsters as well.

Heard some talk tonight that we are pushing this one hard.. Might know a bit more later or tomorrow.

I've not seen this kid before. Could turn out to be Messi, could turn out to be Lee Trundle.

What age group is he? Same as Marcus Edwards, Luke Amos? What has he achieved compared to our best guys?

First time I heard his name tonight! Liking the you tube comp! Sign him up!

Him, Edwards, onomah, CCV, Could be some serious players coming through.

thought city were buying him for £10m?

The rumour is they wanna pay a lot lot less as he only has a year left

He would be ruined in a side with the escorts too of winning the league at the moment

I'd argue that he is best staying where he is IMO and now getting some games assuming their not relegation fodder again

If we were to sign him (he has the potential ) then we would have to loan him to someone in the championship IMO

He played for the U-17 England squad in the 2014 European Under-17 Championship in Malta and played his part in us winning the competition, was fantastic, along with a few others in that team. Central defender from Charlton Gomez was in there and just signed for Liverpool. First time I had seen Onomah play and its really the first time I saw the Chelsea duo Solanke and Brown.

I was suprised he didn't move last summer, but thought staying with Fulham would have been the right move as he should've got some game time. So far as I'm aware he didn't see that much so the question is how far has he come in the last year? Has he stagnated or carried on on the trajectory he was on as a year ago? It's difficult to call someone his age, but we do have some bright youngsters of our own who would probably be royally tinkled if we brought someone in to play ahead of them.
